The Barn’s original wooden beams and exposed brick work have been carefully restored and perfectly complement the contemporary luxe-styling inside. Soft ceiling drapes are accentuated by statement chandeliers, adding modern elegance to the building’s rustic character.

The grand central staircase, combining natural wood and sleek glass panels, leads to a luxurious cocktail lounge, overlooking the bar and the dancefloor. A state-of-the-art speaker system promises the perfect soundtrack to your day, and the large granite topped bar ensures your guests will always have a drink in hand.

Comfortably seating up to 160 guests, The Old Grain Store at the Oakwood at Ryther offers a truly unique backdrop, boasting the best of original rustic features paired with chic and stylish finishes, and is the picture-perfect place to start the rest of your lives together. 

The Bar & Cocktail Lounge

The modern, contemporary bar in The Old Grain Store offers a wide array of draft beers and modern IPAs. There’s also an extensive menu of delightful cocktails, making sure there is something for everyone. The cocktail lounge situated on the mezzanine above the bar provides a relaxing space to sit and observe the party and dancing below.

The catering

We have a flexible catering facility so additional outside kitchens are not a necessity. But of course, our wedding couples have the opportunity to choose the catering to suit their style of celebration. Our team will be happy to assist with selection from our carefully handpicked collection of caterers that have worked with us at The Oakwood and fully understand the outstanding quality and service our wedding couples expect.
